About Us
Tuan is a full-stack engineer and has over twenty years of experience in database design, data engineering, applications development, and reporting.
Tuan has been wrangling health care data since 2000, integrating and aggregating important hospital metrics for analysis by Decision Support departments. He has developed dynamic reporting applications and dashboards in the areas of health care finance, productivity, patient volume, and budgeting.
Tuan's free time is spent with his family. He likes to work from remote tropical locations when the opportunity allows.
Dave is skilled in strategy, customer service, statistics, machine learning, data engineering, and data visualization.
Dave has been in the healthcare field since 2008, when he left academia to pursue a consulting opportunity with Sutter Health in the San Francisco Bay Area.
In 2007-2008, he was visiting professor at UC Denver, teaching and advising masters students in research methods and game theory.
Previously, while completing his doctorate in Economics, he was engaged at the University of Colorado at Boulder, working on methods to help Medicaid enforce policies to reduce opioid abuse.
Between earning his bachelors degree in Economics and Statistics at UC Davis, and starting his doctorate at Colorado-Boulder, Dave worked on project evaluation to reduce recidivism for the youth corrections system in California.
Dave enjoys spending time with his family, volunteering in city government, and riding bicycles uphill.
